The Astronomical Telescopoe Network Germany is a collaborative project to allow for a simple and fast exchange of knowledge and expertise among the affiliated institutes.
Every institute that is contributing to ATNG is granted a membership. With the membership comes that institutes account information to log in on the site, since the database is not openly public to every visitor on the site. This way, every institute can view the database but also has to provide some content for it.
The account information is distributed among the users of the institutes by a central contact, who can request it from the administrator [here].
